Questions people ask before they come

Safety & quality

Is it safe to get treatment in China?

We only work with Grade 3A public teaching hospitals and well-reviewed licensed clinics. They treat very large numbers of patients with modern equipment. We are in every appointment with you, so nothing gets lost in translation.

How do you choose hospitals?

By their strength in your specialty, their experience with international patients, and how transparent their pricing is. Never by commission: we don't take any.

Will my doctor at home accept Chinese records?

Yes. You get the original reports plus our English translation, and imaging files your doctor can open.

Costs & payment

How much does your service cost?

Quotes are free. Packages are a fixed fee from $490 to $6,980 depending on the treatment. See all fees.

How do I pay the hospital?

Directly, by international card or through Alipay or WeChat Pay, which we set up with you. You get official hospital receipts.

What if the final bill is higher than the quote?

Hospital prices are fixed, so changes only happen if the doctor finds something new. We tell you and get your agreement before anything is added.

Can I get a refund?

Our fee is refunded in full if you cancel before we make bookings. Refund policy.

Visa & travel

Do I need a visa?

It depends on your passport and how long you stay. Many nationalities can enter visa-free for short stays, and US, UK and Canadian citizens can often use 240-hour visa-free transit. We check your case and send an invitation letter if you need a visa.

Can someone come with me?

Yes, and we recommend it for surgery. We book a room that suits two.

Will my phone and cards work?

We set up a local SIM or eSIM and link your card to Alipay or WeChat Pay on your first day.

During & after treatment

Will Doris really be at every appointment?

Yes. That's the service. For long hospital stays she visits daily and is on call.

What if something goes wrong after I'm home?

We stay your contact with the hospital, relay questions to your doctor and arrange remote follow-ups.

Can you help with treatment you don't list?

Usually, yes. If a Grade 3A hospital in China treats it, we can coordinate it. Ask us.
